Two lists.
What’s missing?
Compare invitations with RSVPs, registrations with attendance, or invoice numbers with payment records. See what appears in both lists—and what only appears in one.
Excel (.xlsx/.xls), CSV, Word (.docx), text-based PDF, UTF-8 .txt or pasted text. Scans, photos and older .doc files aren’t supported yet.
What connects these lists?
Choose email in both lists, invoice number in both lists, or another shared identifier. Names can be shared by different people; use a unique ID when possible.
Exact matching after these settings. No fuzzy matching, spelling correction or automatic email/phone standardization. Blank matching fields are excluded and included in the report.
Add and review both lists to begin.
Here’s where your lists overlap.
Take the answers with you.
Excel includes the summary, matching groups, both original lists with outcomes, unique-only rows, blank keys and duplicate counts. CSV downloads contain all original columns from the selected list.
Matches mean the selected values agree; they do not verify identity, attendance, payment or consent. Repeated values are grouped, not deleted. CSV prefixes formula-like text with an apostrophe for safer spreadsheet opening. Excel preserves literal text. Download before closing or clearing the page.
A practical pair for your next task.
