KEEPING IT SIMPLE

What the website package includes

Both the annual offer and the giveaway provide the same basic website design/build package, valued at approximately CAD $500.

• One scrolling page, up to five sections. For example: welcome, about, services, photos/testimonials and contact.
• A layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops. Styling based on your existing logo, colours and business identity.
• Your business essentials. Contact details, hours, social links and links to your existing booking or other services. Contact uses email/telephone links; a custom form or form-processing service is not included.
• Basic search setup. A descriptive page title, description, headings and image alternative text. Search rankings and sales results are not guaranteed.
• Two consolidated revision rounds. Adjustments to the agreed layout and supplied content, rather than a new concept or expanded scope.
• Finished website files and handover guidance. Receive the portable HTML/CSS/assets even if you choose not to purchase hosting.

Suitable for a new business website or a simple replacement for an existing one. Content is prepared in one language using material you supply; translation is not included.

CLEAR COSTS, UP FRONT

What isn’t included

Outside this package: extra pages, online stores, payment processing, memberships, custom booking systems, databases, user logins, custom apps, extensive copywriting, logo creation, legal-document drafting and migration of existing email, databases or complex websites.

Any requested extra work requires a separate quote and your approval. There is no obligation to purchase extras. Taxes and third-party charges on services you choose to buy are your responsibility.

OFFER TERMS

Free website with an annual subscription

1. Offer period: October 31, 2026 through November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST, UTC−4). The qualifying annual payment must be completed during this period.
2. Qualifying apps: ServiceTrack, SalonFlow or ResidentCareLog. A full paid 12-month subscription is required. New annual subscriptions, upgrades from monthly billing and paid annual renewals qualify. Free trials, complimentary accounts and monthly subscriptions do not. If annual checkout is unavailable, contact PCS before paying to arrange the qualifying annual purchase.
3. Who qualifies: adults who have reached the age of majority where they live and own or are authorized to represent a lawful business or organization operating in North America that needs a website. Nonprofits and sole proprietors qualify. The website must promote that business or organization and fit the package above.
4. Limit: one website package per business or organization during this promotion, even if it buys multiple subscriptions. No cash alternative, resale or transfer to an unrelated business. This is a design/build benefit, not a discount on app subscription fees.
5. Claim: email hello@practicalcreatorstudio.com within 30 calendar days of your qualifying payment. Include your business name, app and account email; never send passwords or card details. PCS will verify the paid subscription and confirm the project scope.
6. Subscription terms: the app’s normal billing, renewal and cancellation terms continue to apply. A refunded, reversed or fraudulent qualifying payment before delivery makes the offer ineligible, subject to applicable consumer rights. No retroactive website charge will be imposed without a separate written agreement. After delivery, cancelling a future renewal does not remove your rights to the delivered website files; hosting remains a separate service.

This offer does not enter you in the giveaway. You may enter separately without purchasing anything.

Win a website for your business

1. Sponsor and entry period

The sponsor is Practical Creator Studio (PCS), operated by Chris A. MacKinnon in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Contact: hello@practicalcreatorstudio.com. Entries open when this rules page is published on October 31, 2026 and close at the time above. PCS’s receipt time is used for entry deadlines.

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of Canada and the 50 United States and Washington, DC who are at least 18 and have reached the age of majority where they live. Entrants must own or be authorized to represent a lawful business or organization in these areas that needs a business website. Nonprofits and sole proprietors are eligible. PCS’s owner, anyone administering this giveaway, their immediate family members and people living in their households are not eligible. Void where prohibited. Other countries and US territories are not included in this giveaway.

3. How to enter

Choose one of these free methods:

• Facebook: like the official website-giveaway announcement on the PCS Facebook page and comment on that post with your business or organization name and a brief description of what you do. Comments on unrelated posts are not entries.
• Email: send an email to hello@practicalcreatorstudio.com with the subject “PCS website giveaway entry,” your name, your business or organization name, what you do and your province/state and country. No Facebook account is required.

One entry per person and per business or organization across both methods. The first valid entry counts; duplicates give no additional chances. Both methods have equal chances. Sharing, tagging friends, following the page and purchasing are not required and do not provide extra entries. Automated, fraudulent or impersonated entries are invalid. By entering, you agree to these rules.

4. Selection and confirmation

PCS will randomly select one potential winner from all valid entries on December 2, 2026. The selected entrant will be contacted using the entry email or by a reply/private message from the official PCS Facebook page within two business days. They must respond within seven calendar days of the first contact attempt and provide reasonable confirmation of eligibility and authority to represent the business.

A selected Canadian entrant must also correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question before being confirmed as the winner. Reasonable accessibility accommodations are available on request. If the selected entrant is ineligible, declines, cannot be reached, fails the required question or does not respond on time, PCS will randomly select an alternate using the same process.

PCS will never require a payment, card number or app subscription to release the prize. Optional hosting purchases are separate from claiming and receiving the website files.

5. Prize and limits

One winner receives the package described above, with an approximate retail value of CAD $500. No domain, hosting, ongoing maintenance or app subscription is included. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred to another business. A winner who separately qualifies for the annual offer may receive only one website package for the same business; there is no extra cash or credit for duplicate entitlement. Any taxes legally payable by a winner are their responsibility. No mandatory fee is charged by PCS to claim the design/build prize.

6. Fair administration

PCS may reject entries that violate these rules and will not treat purchases, shares or referrals as an advantage. PCS is not responsible for entries it does not receive because of technical problems, incorrect contact details or platform failures. If fraud or a major technical issue prevents fair administration, PCS may make only the changes reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law, and post notice here. Changes will not remove a confirmed winner’s entitlement or override legal consumer rights. Eligible entries received before an interruption will be preserved where possible.

7. Facebook disclosure

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Meta. Information is provided to PCS, not Facebook. To the extent permitted by applicable law, each entrant releases Facebook from liability arising from this promotion. Facebook is not responsible for selecting the winner or providing the prize.

FROM IDEA TO FINISHED WEBSITE

Delivery, content and ownership

These terms apply to both the subscription benefit and giveaway prize.

• You provide the essentials: your logo (if available), accurate business information, page text and images you own or have permission to use. You approve the finished content and are responsible for required business disclosures and legal notices. Do not send confidential client or resident information.
• Agree on scope first: PCS confirms the sections, supplied content and any optional paid extras in writing before building. The package covers lawful informational business content; it does not include regulated transactions or custom systems.
• Content deadline: provide the agreed materials within 60 calendar days of PCS confirming your claim or win. If you need more time, contact PCS before the deadline to arrange a reasonable extension. An unresponsive or abandoned project may be closed after written notice and a further 14-day response period.
• Timing: PCS will provide an initial version within 30 business days after receiving the complete materials and agreed scope. Revision timing is agreed with you; your delays pause the schedule. Any change to the delivery schedule will be discussed with you.
• Revisions: submit each of your two consolidated feedback rounds within 10 business days of receiving the relevant version, or agree on an extension. New features and redesigns beyond the agreed scope require a separate quote.
• Your website: you retain ownership of your supplied content. PCS grants you a perpetual right to use and modify the delivered design and code for your business, and supplies the finished files. PCS’s reusable tools and third-party assets remain subject to their applicable licences. Your domain should be registered in your own name or business account.
• After handover: PCS will correct reproducible build defects reported within 30 days of delivery without a design fee. New content, expanded functionality and changes caused by third-party services are separate. No ongoing hosting, maintenance, security monitoring or search-ranking guarantee is included.

YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy and contact

PCS uses entry and claim information to administer this promotion, verify eligibility, contact entrants and deliver the website. Entering does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Facebook comments are public, so do not put private contact information in your comment; use email if you prefer a private entry.

PCS will limit access to people and service providers needed to administer the promotion and build the website. Entry-administration records will normally be deleted within 90 days after the prize is delivered, except information needed for legal obligations or a dispute. Successful customer/project records are retained as needed to deliver and support the agreed services. A public winner announcement will identify only the business and province/state, with the winner’s consent; declining publicity does not forfeit the prize.
